Overview
In Kisi County, Kenya, Modo Foundation is partnering with local communities to make sure every child—especially those from orphanages and low-income families—has access to education and the essentials they need to thrive. Poverty, hunger, and lack of school supplies keep many children out of the classroom, but together we are changing that story.
What We Do
• Primary school support for indigent children, including tuition assistance, books, and uniforms
• Daily nutrition to keep children healthy and focused on learning
• Support for orphanages, providing food, bedding, clothing, and other essentials
• Healthcare and hygiene supplies to protect children’s well-being
• Community engagement to address the root causes of school dropouts
Our Vision for Kisi
We believe every child in Kisi should have the opportunity to learn in a safe and supportive environment. Our goal is to expand both our school assistance programs and our orphanage partnerships—ensuring that no child is left behind because of their circumstances.
